وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَدْلُ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، ثنا الْمُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُلَيَّةَ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الْيَدَيْنِ تَسْجُدَانِ كَمَا يَسْجُدُ الْوَجْهُ، فَإِذَا وَضَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَجْهَهُ فَلْيَضَعْ يَدَيْهِ فَإِذَا رَفَعَهُ فَلْيَرْفَعْهُمَا " وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَالْمَقْصُودُ مِنْهُ وَضْعُ الْيَدَيْنِ فِي السُّجُودِ لَا التَّقْدِيمُ فِيهِمَا وَاللهُ تَعَالَى أَعْلَمُ.
(a) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), attributing it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, the hands prostrate just as the face prostrates; so when one of you places his face on the ground for prostration, he should place his hands along with it, and when he raises his face, he should raise his hands as well."
