Bayhaqi 2631 — Placing the knees before the hands
اُردوEn
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ: " صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ وَكَانَ أَوَّلَ مَا وَصَلَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ رُكْبَتَاهُ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him): I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); then he (peace and blessings be upon him) prostrated, and when going down into prostration the first part of him (peace and blessings be upon him) to touch the ground was his knees.
