أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي بِمَرْوَ، ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنبأ شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا سَجَدَ تَقَعُ رُكْبَتَاهُ قَبْلَ يَدَيْهِ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ قَبْلَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ ".
It is narrated from Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prostrated, his knees would rest on the ground before his hands, and when he rose, he would raise his hands before his knees.
