Bayhaqi 2601 — The sin of one who raises his head before the imam

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ الْعَلَوِيُّ إِمْلَاءً أنبأ أَبُو حَمَّادِ بْنُ الشَّرْقِيِّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَقِيلٍ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ وَمِنْ حِفْظِهِ أنبأ حَفْصُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَمَا يَخَافُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ السُّجُودِ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ أَنْ يُحَوِّلَ اللهُ رَأْسَهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Does any one of you not fear that, for raising his head from prostration before the imam, Allah Almighty will change his head into the head of a donkey?"
