أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، وَأَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّزَّازُ قَالَا: ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ، وَبَعْدَمَا يَرْفَعُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ وَلَا يَرْفَعُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ " رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى، وَجَمَاعَةٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ.
Salim (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with them both): I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) began the prayer he raised his hands level with his shoulders, and when he intended to bow he raised his hands, and also after rising from the bowing, but he did not raise his hands between the two prostrations.
