It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): I used to pray behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Umar al-Faruq and Sayyiduna Uthman al-Ghani (may Allah be pleased with them). They would begin their recitation with 'All praise is for Allah, the Lord of the worlds' [Surah al-Fatihah: 2].
A group has narrated it from Humayd in the same way, although some of them also mentioned the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and they mentioned it with the wording of beginning with 'All praise is for Allah, the Lord of the worlds' [Surah al-Fatihah: 2].
