Bayhaqi 2361 — The obligation of recitation in every rak'ah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me to announce: "Prayer is not accepted without the recitation of the Qur'an; let one recite Surah al-Fatihah and something more besides it."
