أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ، أنبأ أَبُو عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، وَمُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالُوا: أنبأ شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ هِلَالَ بْنَ يَسَافٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: " الْمُؤَذِّنُ أَمْلَكُ بِالْأَذَانِ، وَالْإِمَامُ أَمْلَكُ بِالْإِقَامَةِ " وَرُوِيَ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ مَرْفُوعًا وَلَيْسَ بِمَحْفُوظٍ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "The mu'adhdhin has more right over the adhan, and the imam has more right over the iqamah."
It has also been narrated from Sharik, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah as a saying of the Prophet (marfu'), but that is not mahfuz (preserved).
