أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا: هَلْ رُخِّصَ لِلنِّسَاءِ أَنْ يُصَلِّينَ عَلَى الدَّوَابِّ؟ قَالَتْ: " لَمْ يُرَخَّصْ لَهُنَّ فِي شِدَّةٍ وَلَا رَخَاءٍ " قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: هَذَا فِي الْمَكْتُوبَةِ ".
(a) It is narrated from Ata' bin Abi Rabah that he asked the Mother of the Believers Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): Have women been given a concession to pray on riding animals? She said: Women have not been given permission, neither in any hardship nor in normal circumstances.
