Bayhaqi 21605 — Reports on the explanation of the words of Allah
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ، وَأَبُوسَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، أنبأ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنبأ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنّهُ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُكَاتِبَ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ حِرْفَةٌ، وَيَقُولُ: " تُطْعِمُنِي أَوْسَاخَ النَّاسِ ".
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he disliked making a kitabah contract with a slave who knew no trade, and he would say: "You will feed me the filth of people."
