وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الرَّجُلُ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يُسْلِمُ عَلَى يَدَيِ الرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ؟ قَالَ: " هُوَ أَوْلَى بِهِ فِي حَيَاتِهِ وَمَمَاتِهِ " كَذَا قَالَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ..
Abdullah bin Wahb narrates from Tamim al-Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) that (he asked): "O Messenger of Allah! A man from the polytheists accepts Islam at the hands of a Muslim man?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He has the greater right over him in his life and his death."
