أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ح قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، وَزِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، قَالُوا: ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ مَمْلُوكِينَ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ، لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُمْ، فَدَعَا بِهِمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَجَزَّأَهُمْ أَثْلَاثًا، ثُمَّ أَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ، وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً، وَقَالَ لَهُ قَوْلًا شَدِيدًا. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حُجْرٍ وَغَيْرِهِ..
Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) says that a man freed six slaves at the time of his death, and he had no other wealth. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called for them and divided them into three groups, then drew lots between them. He freed two and kept four in slavery, and he also spoke severely (about the man).
