Qatadah narrates from Ikrimah that the sister of Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) vowed to perform Hajj on foot. Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) asked him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Tell her to ride; Allah has no need of your sister's vow," or "of her walking." Sa'id was in doubt.
