وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُؤَمَّلِ، ثنا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ الْأَعْوَرِ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ ⦗١٠٨⦘ سَلَّامٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَذَ كِسْرَةً مِنْ خُبْزِ شَعِيرٍ، فَوَضَعَ عَلَيْهَا تَمْرَةً، وَقَالَ: " هَذِهِ إِدَامُ هَذِهِ "، فَأَكَلَهَا.
Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he (peace and blessings be upon him) was holding a piece of barley bread with a date placed on top of it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is its condiment," and he ate it.
