Bayhaqi 20002 — Reports on freeing a child born of zina

قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرَى وَلَدَ الزِّنَا وَغَيْرَهُ فِي الْعِتْقِ سَوَاءً ". وَعَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ: " انْظُرْ أَكْثَرَهُمَا ثَمَنًا ".
It is narrated from al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said concerning the child born of fornication that freeing him and others is the same.
