Bayhaqi 19680 — Prohibition of treatment with intoxicants

Shaqiq bin Salamah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A man's stomach became upset and yellow fluid was found in it. He was brought to Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said: My stomach is upset, and wine or an intoxicant has been prepared for me. Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Allah has not placed your cure in what He has made unlawful for you."
