أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَغَيْرُهُمْ قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ فَأْرَةٍ وَقَعَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ فَقَالَ: " أَلْقُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا وَكُلُوا مَا بَقِيَ ". فَقَالُوا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ السَّمْنُ مَائِعًا؟ قَالَ: " انْتَفِعُوا بِهِ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوهُ ". عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عُمَرَ غَيْرُ مُحْتَجٍّ بِهِ، وَرُوِيَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ هَكَذَا وَالطَّرِيقُ إِلَيْهِ غَيْرُ قَوِيٍّ.
Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar narrates from his father (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a mouse that fell into ghee, and he said: "Throw away the ghee around the mouse and eat the rest." It was said: O Prophet of Allah! What if the ghee is not solid? He said: "Benefit from it, but do not use it for eating."
