أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْكَارِزِيُّ، أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ أَبَانَ، عَنْ رَاشِدٍ، مَوْلَى قُرَيْشٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ فَأْرَةٍ وَقَعَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ فَقَالَ: إِنْ كَانَ مَائِعًا فَأَلْقِهِ كُلَّهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ جَامِسًا فَأَلْقِ الْفَأْرَةَ وَمَا حَوْلَهَا وَكُلْ مَا بَقِيَ ". قَالَ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ: جَامِسًا يَعْنِي جَامِدًا.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was asked about a mouse falling into ghee, and he said: If it is not solid, throw all of it away; and if it is solid, throw away the mouse and the ghee around it and eat the rest.
