أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ فَأْرَةٍ وَقَعَتْ فِي سَمْنٍ فَمَاتَتْ فِيهِ فَقَالَ: " أَلْقُوهَا وَمَا حَوْلَهَا وَكُلُوهُ ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a mouse that fell into ghee and died, and he said: "Remove the mouse and the ghee around it, and eat the rest."
