قَالَ: وَثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: كُلْهُ أَشْعَرَ أَوْ لَمْ يُشْعِرْ إِنْ لَمْ تَقْذَرْهُ يَعْنِي الْجَنِينَ. قَالَ يَعْقُوبُ: وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: لَا يَكُونُ ذَكَاةُ نَفْسٍ ذَكَاةَ نَفْسَيْنِ. قَالَ يَعْقُوبُ: حَدَّثَنَا بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، أَنْبَأَ الْبَتِّيُّ قَالَ: كَانَ حَمَّادٌ إِذَا قَالَ بِرَأْيهِ أَصَابَ، وَإِذَا قَالَ: قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ أَخْطَأَ. وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، وَالْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَالْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ، وَعَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ، وَعَطَاءٍ، وَطَاوُسٍ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ، وَنَافِعٍ، وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، وَعِكْرِمَةَ، وَعَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ نَحْوَ قَوْلِنَا.
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said about the fetus: "Eat it, whether it has grown hair or not, as long as you do not find it repulsive."
Ya'qub said: It has been narrated from Hammad, from Ibrahim, that he said: "The slaughter of one soul is not the slaughter of two souls."
Ya'qub said: One of our companions narrated to us from Uthman bin Uthman that al-Batti said: "When Hammad spoke by his own opinion he was right, and when he said 'Ibrahim said', he erred."
Something similar to our view has been narrated to us from Sa'id bin al-Musayyab, al-Qasim bin Muhammad, al-Hasan al-Basri, Amir al-Sha'bi, Ata, Tawus, Mujahid, Nafi', Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla, Ikrimah and Amr bin Dinar.
