أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ، أنبأ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَزَّازُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا أَبُو يُوسُفَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُجَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْجَزُورِ وَالْبَقَرَةِ يُوجَدُ فِي بَطْنِهَا الْجَنِينُ قَالَ: " إِذَا سَمَّيْتُمْ عَلَى الذَّبِيحَةِ فَذَكَاتُهُ ذَكَاةُ أُمِّهِ ". وَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَدَّادِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ مُخْتَصَرًا.
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a camel and a cow in whose womb there is a fetus, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you have mentioned the name of Allah over the slaughtered animal, the slaughter of its mother counts as the slaughter of its fetus."
