أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ وَأَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الْبَزَّارُ بِبَغْدَادَ قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَاكِهِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ، ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي مَسَرَّةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ ثنا كَعْبُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يُؤَذِّنُ فَقُولُوا كَمَا يَقُولُ وَصَلُّوا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُصَلِّي عَلَيَّ صَلَاةً إِلَّا صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشْرًا وَسَلُوا اللهَ لِيَ الْوَسِيلَةَ فَإِنَّ الْوَسِيلَةَ مَنْزِلَةٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ لَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ تَكُونَ إِلَّا لِعَبْدٍ مِنْ عِبَادِ اللهِ وَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَهُ، وَمَنْ سَأَلَهَا لِي حَلَّتْ لَهُ شَفَاعَتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you hear the mu'adhdhin giving the adhan, say as he says, and send blessings upon me, for whoever sends blessings upon me, Allah sends ten mercies upon him. And ask Allah for al-Wasilah for me, for al-Wasilah is a station in Paradise that befits only one servant among the servants of Allah, and I hope that I will be he. Whoever asks for it for me, my intercession becomes due for him on the Day of Resurrection."
