أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عَنِ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مِثْلَانِ، وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ ". قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: هَذَا هُوَ الْحَدِيثُ، وَحَدِيثُ سُفْيَانَ وَهْمٌ. قَالَ الْفَقِيهُ الْعَالِمُ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ: وَرَوَاهُ الْمُزَنِيُّ فِي الْمُخْتَصَرِ عَنِ الشَّافِعِيِّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ، وَالْمُزَنِيُّ وَاهِمٌ فِيهِ فِي مَوْضِعَيْنِ، أَحَدُهُمَا أَنَّ سَائِرَ الرُّوَاةِ رَوَوْهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سِبَاعٍ، وَالْآخَرُ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا فِيهِ: سِبَاعُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ الطَّحَاوِيُّ عَنِ الْمُزَنِيِّ فِي كِتَابِ السُّنَنِ فِي أَحَدِ الْمَوْضِعَيْنِ عَلَى الصَّوَابِ، كَمَا رَوَاهُ سَائِرُ النَّاسِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، وَبِاللهِ التَّوْفِيقُ. ⦗٥٠٧⦘ وَرَوَاهُ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سِبَاعِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ سِبَاعٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أُمَّ كُرْزٍ أَخْبَرَتْهُ وَرُوِيَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ.
Sayyidah Umm Kurz (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two equal goats for a boy and one goat for a girl."
Abu Dawud said: This is the (correct) hadith, and the hadith of Sufyan is an error (wahm). Al-Faqih (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Al-Muzani narrated it in al-Mukhtasar from al-Shafi'i, from Sufyan, from Ubaydullah bin Abi Yazid, from Siba' bin Wahb, from Umm Kurz, and al-Muzani erred in it in two places: first, all the other narrators narrated it from Ibn Uyaynah, from Ubaydullah bin Abi Yazid, from his father, from Siba'; and second, they said in it Siba' bin Thabit. Al-Tahawi narrated it from al-Muzani in Kitab al-Sunan correctly in one of the two places, as all the others narrated it from Sufyan. And success is from Allah.
