وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ثنا لَيْثٌ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا: " كَانَتْ تُؤَذِّنُ وَتُقِيمُ وَتَؤُمُّ النِّسَاءَ وَتَقُومُ وَسْطَهُنَّ ".
It is reported from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she used to give the adhan and the iqamah and lead the women in prayer, and she would stand in their midst.
