Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I bought a sheep to sacrifice and went out, and a wolf seized its fat tail. I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Sacrifice it."
(b) In the narration of Sufyan: We bought a ram to sacrifice, and a wolf cut off its fat tail, or part of its fat tail. I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he ordered me to sacrifice it.
Jabir (al-Ju'fi), however, is not used as evidence.
