أَخْبَرَنَاهُ عَبْدُ الْخَالِقِ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْخَالِقِ الْمُؤَذِّنُ، أنبأ بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا الْوَاقِدِيُّ، ثنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِذَبِيحَةِ الْغُلَامِ أَنْ تُؤْكَلَ إِذَا سَمَّى اللهَ. وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: لَا بَأْسَ بِذَبِيحَةِ الصَّبِيِّ وَالْمَرْأَةِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that the animal slaughtered by a boy be eaten: "When he slaughters it saying the takbir, it should be eaten." (b) Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: There is no harm in eating the slaughtered animal of a child, of a woman, and of the People of the Book.
