Bayhaqi 19126 — Slaughter of an animal under control

Abdullah bin al-Mubarak (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates with his chain that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) "forbade the sharitah of Satan (sharitat al-shaytan)," meaning an animal whose skin has been cut, but the blood does not flow from its veins, and it dies because it is left like that.
