Bayhaqi 1911 — Sufficing with the adhan and iqamah of the congregation

It is narrated from Alqamah that Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) led me and al-Aswad in prayer without adhan and without iqamah. Sometimes he would say: The adhan and iqamah of the neighbourhood suffice us.
