باب: لا يأخذ المسلمون من ثمار أهل الذمة ولا أموالهم شيئا بغير أمرهم إذا أعطوا ما عليهم، وما ورد من التشديد في ظلمهم وقتلهم
Chapter: Muslims do not take anything of the fruits or property of the dhimmis without their consent once they have paid their dues, and the stern warnings against wronging and killing them
Bayhaqi 18734 — Muslims do not take anything of the fruits or property
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنبأ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ ثُرْمُلَةَ الْعِجْلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا مُعَاهَدَةً بِغَيْرِ حِلِّهَا فَقَدْ حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ أَنْ يَشُمَّ رِيحَهَا ".
Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever unjustly kills a person under covenant (mu'ahad), Allah will forbid him even to smell the fragrance of Paradise."
