حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْقَطَّانُ، أنبأ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُمَارَةَ بْنَ حُدَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ صَخْرٍ الْغَامِدِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا ". قَالَ: وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً بَعَثَهَا مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ، وَكَانَ صَخْرٌ رَجُلًا تَاجِرًا، وَكَانَ يُرْسِلُ غِلْمَانَهُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ فَكَثُرَ مَالُهُ حَتَّى كَانَ لَا يَدْرِي أَيْنَ يَضَعُهُ. لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي دَاوُدَ.
Sayyiduna Sakhr al-Ghamidi (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Allahumma barik li-ummati fi bukuriha' (O Allah, bless my Ummah in its early mornings). The narrator says: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) dispatched a detachment, he would send it in the early part of the day. Sakhr (may Allah be pleased with him) was a merchant, and he would send out his servants in the morning; through the blessing of this, his wealth grew so much that he could find no place to keep it.
