باب: ما يجب على الإمام من الغزو بنفسه أو بسراياه في كل عام على حسن النظر للمسلمين حتى لا يكون الجهاد معطلا في عام إلا من عذر

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي، وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، قَالُوا: ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يُقَاتِلُونَ عَلَى الْحَقِّ ظَاهِرِينَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ". رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ وَغَيْرِهِ، عَنْ حَجَّاجِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ.
Abu al-Zubayr heard Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "A group of my Ummah will always continue to fight for the truth and will remain until the Day of Resurrection."
