أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، ثنا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكَعْبِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، أنبأ شَيْبَانُ، ثنا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ، فَقَالَ: حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيذَ الْجَرِّ، قَالَ: فَأَتَيْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَقُلْتُ: أَلَا تَسْمَعُ مَا يَقُولُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ؟ قَالَ: وَمَا يَقُولُ؟ قُلْتُ: قَالَ: حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيذَ الْجَرِّ، فَقَالَ: صَدَقَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ، حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيذَ الْجَرِّ، فَقُلْتُ: وَأِيُّ شَيْءٍ نَبِيذُ الْجَرِّ؟ فَقَالَ: كُلُّ شَيْءٍ يُصْنَعُ مِنَ الْمَدَرِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ شَيْبَانَ ⦗٥٣٦⦘ رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ بْنِ فَرُّوخَ.
Sa'id bin Jubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about nabidh made in earthenware jars, and he said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has forbidden it." He said: I came to Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and said: Do you know what Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) is saying? He asked: What? I said: He says that nabidh of earthenware jars is forbidden. He said: "Yes, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declared it forbidden." I said: What is nabidh of earthenware jars? He said: Everything that is made from clay.
