أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ السُّوسِيُّ قَالَا: أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ مَزْيَدٍ، أنبأ أَبِي ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، أنا أَبُو النَّجَاشِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي رَافِعُ بْنُ خَدِيجٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ: " كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَنْصَرِفُ أَحَدُنَا وَإِنَّهُ لَيَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَوَاقِعِ نَبْلِهِ " مُخَرَّجٌ فِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We used to pray Maghrib in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and one of us would go back and could still see where his arrow fell.
