وَأَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، أنبأ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، ثنا سَعْدَانُ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: " مَا كُنَّا نَرَى الْجَلْدَ إِلَّا فِي الْقَذْفِ الْبَيِّنِ وَالنَّفْيِ الْبَيِّنِ.
Al-Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him) said: We used to give lashes only in the case of an explicit accusation or an explicit denial of paternity.
