وَأَنْبَأَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، إِجَازَةً، أنبأ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ أَبَا بَرْزَةَ " ضَرَبَ أَمَةً لَهُ فَجَرَتْ ".
Ash'ath narrates from his father that he said: I was present with Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he applied the prescribed punishment to his slave woman who had committed adultery.
