أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي الْحَنْظَلِيَّ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: كَبِرَ زَيْدٌ حَتَّى سَلَسَ مِنْهُ الْبَوْلُ فَكَانَ يُدَارِيهِ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ فَإِذَا غَلَبَهُ تَوَضَّأَ وَصَلَّى " وَقَدْ رُوِيَ فِي مَعْنَاهُ حَدِيثٌ بِإِسْنَادٍ فِيهِ ضَعْفٌ.
It is narrated from Kharijah bin Zayd bin Thabit that when Sayyiduna Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) grew old, he suffered from continuous urine leakage. He would treat it as much as he was able, and when it overcame him, he performed ablution and prayed.
