أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حِيَّانَ، أنبأ أَبُو يَعْلَى، ثنا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا حَجَّاجٌ الصَّوَّافُ قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ فِي كِتَابِ مُعَاوِيَةَ ابْنِ عَمِّ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ أَنَّهُ مِنْ كُتُبِ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ فَوَجَدْتُ فيهِ: هَذَا مَا اسْتَذْكَرَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِت الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ مِن قَضَاءٍ قَضَاهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّ الدِّيَةَ بَيْنَ الْوَرَثَةِ مِيرَاثٌ عَلَى كِتَابِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ".
Hajjaj al-Sawwaf (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I read in the book of Mu'awiyah, the paternal cousin of Abu Qilabah, which was one of the books of Abu Qilabah (may Allah have mercy on him), and I found in it: These are the rulings of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that Muhammad bin Thabit asked al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) to recall: "The blood money is to be divided among the heirs as inheritance, according to the inheritance set out in the Book of Allah."
