أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ إِبْرَاهِيَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيَمَ ثنا هِشَامُ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، ⦗٥١٨⦘ أَنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتَ جَحْشٍ، سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ: إِنِّي أُهْرَاقُ الدَّمَ " فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ وَتُصَلِّي " وَرَوَاهُ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى فَجَعَلَ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتَ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Umm Habibah bint Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with her) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), saying: I bleed continuously. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered her: "She should perform a ritual bath (ghusl) for every prayer and pray." (b) In the narration that al-Awza'i reported from Yahya, the woman with istihadah is Zaynab bint Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her).
