Bayhaqi 16468 — A group of people fought one another with stones

رَوَى أَبُو دَاوُدَ، فِي الْمَرَاسِيلِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الْهَمَذَانِيِّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا سَلَّامُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: اقْتَتَلَ قَوْمٌ بِالْحِجَارَةِ، فَقُتِلَ بَيْنَهُمْ قَتِيلٌ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِحَبْسِهِمْ: أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَنْبَأَ أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ الْفَسَوِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ اللُّؤْلُؤِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، فَذَكَرَهُ.
Al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A group of people fought one another with stones, and killing took place among them, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that they be imprisoned.
