Bayhaqi 16260 — Blood money for the teeth

Zayd bin Aslam said that the Sunnah has been established concerning the organs of a person; then he mentioned a long hadith and said: For the teeth too there is the diyah.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) as marfu' with a weak chain: "For all the teeth there are 100 camels." Shurayh said that if a tooth is broken, a respite of one year will be given. Al-Sha'bi also reported the same from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and Makhul likewise reported it from Sayyiduna Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him).
The hadith of Zayd bin Aslam is munqati' (its chain is broken), and the narration of those who reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "For every tooth there are five camels" is more numerous and better known.
