وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ: وَفِي الْعَقْلِ الدِّيَةُ مِائَةٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ مَا دَلَّ عَلَى أَنَّهُ قَضَى فِي السَّمْعِ بِالدِّيَةِ وَرَوَاهُ حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ.
Through this same chain it is narrated: "For (destroying) the intellect, the blood money is 100 camels." And it is reported from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) what indicates that he ruled the full blood money for hearing.
