Bayhaqi 16223 — The two ears

Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) ruled half of the blood money for a life for an ear.
Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: For an ear, when it is cut off from the root, there is half the blood money, and in this half too the camels will be of five categories; whatever is less than that will be by the same proportion.
