أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، أنبأ الْحَجَّاجُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، أنبأ أَشْيَاخُنَا الَّذِينَ أَدْرَكُوا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا رَمَى رَجُلًا بِحَجَرٍ فَأَقَادَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهِ.
Ziyad bin Ilaqah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Many of our shaykhs (may Allah be pleased with them) who had seen the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrated that a man injured another with a stone, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) had retaliation taken from him.
