وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا تَمْتَامُ، ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَطَأً إِلَّا السَّيْفَ يَعْنِي الْحَدِيدَةَ، وَلِكُلِّ خَطَأٍ أَرْشٌ ".
Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In everything except the sword there is error, and for every error there is its compensation."
