وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ الْحَافِظُ، أنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَمِيرَوَيْهِ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، فِي الْعَبْدِ يُقْتَلُ خَطَأً قَالَا: " ثَمَنُهُ مَا بَلَغَ "..
Al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) and Sa'id bin al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) said, concerning a slave who is killed by mistake, that what is due for him is his price.
