أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ، أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ، وَعَارِمٌ، قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ: أَنَّ رَجُلًا مَرَّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ بِأَسْهُمٍ قَدْ بَدَا نُصُولُهَا، فَأُمِرَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ بِنُصُولِهَا لَا تَخْدِشُ مُسْلِمًا. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي النُّعْمَانِ عَارِمٍ، وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى، وَأَبِي الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ.
It is narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man passed through the mosque carrying weapons whose points were exposed, so he was ordered: "Cover their points so that they do not strike a Muslim."
