أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ، أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، نا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، نا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، وَمَسْرُوقٌ، وَعُبَيْدَةُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ هُوَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: " عِدَّةُ الْمُطَلَّقَةِ مِنْ حِينِ تُطَلَّقُ وَالْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا مِنْ حِينِ يُتَوَفَّى " ⦗٦٩٨⦘ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ يَحْسَبُهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: " مِنْ يَوْمِ يَمُوتُ ".
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the waiting period of a divorced woman is from the time she is divorced, and the waiting period of a woman whose husband has died is from the time her husband died.
