أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيُّ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ قَالَا: أنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَافِظُ، نا أَبُو عُمَرَ، وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْمُقَوِّمُ، نا صُغْدِيُّ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ مُظَاهِرِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " طَلَاقُ الْعَبْدِ اثْنَتَانِ وَلَا تَحِلُّ لَهُ حَتَّى تَنْكِحَ زَوْجًا غَيْرَهُ، وَقُرْءُ الْأَمَةِ حَيْضَتَانِ، وَتَتَزَوَّجُ الْحُرَّةُ عَلَى الْأَمَةِ، وَلَا تَتَزَوَّجُ الْأَمَةُ عَلَى الْحُرَّةِ " كَذَا قَالَ: طَلَاقُ الْعَبْدِ اثْنَتَانِ.
Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The divorces of a slave are two, and that woman is not lawful for him until she marries another husband; and the waiting period of a slave woman is two menstrual cycles. A free woman may be married in the presence of a slave woman (i.e. a wife), but a slave woman may not be married in the presence of a free woman (i.e. a wife)."
