وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا: نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، نا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ سُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ عَدَدَ النُّجُومِ فَقَالَ: " إِنَّمَا يَكْفِيكَ رَأْسُ الْجَوْزَاءِ ".
Amr bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was asked about a man who had divorced his wife as many times as the number of the stars. He said: Only the head of al-Jawza' (Gemini) would have sufficed you.
