قَالَ: وَنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ نَافِعًا مَوْلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ الْحَمَّامِ لِلنِّسَاءِ قَالَ: " لَسْنَا نَرَاهُ حَرَامًا، وَلَكِنَّنَا نَنْهَى نِسَاءَنَا عَنْهُ ".
Abdullah bin Sulayman asked Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him), the freed slave of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), about the bathhouse for women. He said: We do not consider it unlawful, but we forbid our women from it.
